Et partir \u00e0 plusieurs peut signifier une \u00e9quip\u00e9e de 2 motards jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 &#8230; des centaines pour les plus grandes randonn\u00e9es ! Une partie de la r\u00e9glementation est justement consacr\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019utilisation de la moto par un groupe de participants.<\/p>\n<h3>Qu\u2019est-ce qu\u2019un groupe de motards ?<\/h3>\n<p>Pour la r\u00e9glementation, on parle d\u2019un groupe de motocyclistes \u00e0 partir de 2 motards. D\u00e8s qu\u2019ils sont 2 ou plus \u00e0 circuler sur une voie publique divis\u00e9e en bandes de circulation, ils ne doivent pas circuler en file indienne. Ils peuvent alors \u00eatre en deux rangs parall\u00e8les d\u00e9cal\u00e9s, en respectant entre eux une distance de s\u00e9curit\u00e9. Et si la chauss\u00e9e n&rsquo;est pas divis\u00e9e en bandes de circulation, ils ne peuvent en aucun cas d\u00e9passer une largeur \u00e9gale \u00e0 la moiti\u00e9 de la chauss\u00e9e. Si le croisement est impossible, ils doivent, le cas \u00e9ch\u00e9ant, circuler en file indienne.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019avantage du rang parall\u00e8le d\u00e9cal\u00e9, c\u2019est qu\u2019il permet \u00e0 chaque motard de disposer d\u2019un espace suffisant en largeur pour \u00e9viter un trou ou tout obstacle soudain, tout en permettant de pouvoir se remettre en file indienne si la situation l\u2019exige, comme pour prendre un virage serr\u00e9 ou effectuer un croisement sur une route \u00e9troite.<\/p>\n<h3>Les r\u00e8gles d\u2019encadrement diff\u00e8rent selon la taille du groupe<\/h3>\n<p>Ainsi, un groupe de 15 \u00e0 50 participants peut \u00eatre accompagn\u00e9 par au moins 2 capitaines de route. Tandis que les groupes de 51 participants et plus DOIVENT \u00eatre accompagn\u00e9s par au moins 2 capitaines de route. On peut donc en d\u00e9duire que les groupes de moins de 15 participants ne peuvent pas b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier de l\u2019apport de capitaines de groupe.<\/p>\n<p>Les capitaines de route veillent au bon d\u00e9roulement de la randonn\u00e9e. Hormis dans les carrefours avec feux, ils peuvent arr\u00eater la circulation des voies transversales \u00e0 l\u2019aide d\u2019un signal C3 pour laisser passer le groupe de motos. Ces capitaines de route doivent \u00eatre \u00e2g\u00e9s de 25 ans au moins et porter un v\u00eatement r\u00e9tro-r\u00e9fl\u00e9chissant, qui indique en lettres noires sur le dos la mention \u201ccapitaine de route\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Vu leur r\u00f4le essentiel, la qualit\u00e9 des capitaines de route n\u2019est pas \u00e0 prendre \u00e0 la l\u00e9g\u00e8re pour un organisateur de randonn\u00e9e. Heureusement, des formations sont organis\u00e9es par des f\u00e9d\u00e9rations de motards ou des centres de ma\u00eetrise. Il faut aussi pr\u00e9voir un nombre suffisant de capitaines en fonction du nombre de participants. S\u2019ils sont trop peu pour g\u00e9rer un groupe, ils risquent fort de commettre de nombreuses imprudences pour remonter la colonne de motards !<\/p>\n<h3>Quelques conseils pour les participants\u2026<\/h3>\n<p>Au sein du groupe, on recommande de placer \u00e0 l\u2019avant les motards les moins exp\u00e9riment\u00e9s, pour limiter les effets d\u2019accord\u00e9on. Mais en t\u00eate, on placera plut\u00f4t un motard aguerri qui imprimera un tempo raisonnable et constant, en restant suffisamment en dessous des limitations de vitesse, notamment pour que les capitaines de route ne doivent pas sans cesse rouler trop vite pour remonter le groupe !<\/p>\n<p>Pour les autres participants, il est important de respecter le rang parall\u00e8le d\u00e9cal\u00e9, d\u2019\u00e9viter les d\u00e9passements qui d\u00e9sorganiseraient le groupe et de faire en sorte de garder une bonne coh\u00e9sion de la colonne. Par ailleurs, pour des raisons de s\u00e9curit\u00e9, et aussi de mobilit\u00e9 pour tous, il vaut mieux scinder les tr\u00e8s grands groupes en plusieurs sous-groupes, avec des d\u00e9parts espac\u00e9s.
